The staff was more than helpful. On our last morning, when running to the car to grab something, realized it had been towed!! I received a very warm and friendly welcome from Ana in the Chelsea
Pines Inn, and all the staff there were charming and lovely throughout
my short stay. The location of this Inn is excellent - a few steps away
from an underground station, Chelsea Market and the High Line. Small
touches like complimentary water and printing facilities makes Chelsea
Pines Inn compare favourably to more upscale places I stayed in ny
(where they were charging $8 for a small bottle of water!).

I am a designer and i loved the whole design of this hotel, everything was exceptional in its design and finish, far beyond the likes of any other hotel. The staff are fabulous, very friendly, professional, cannot do more to help. The pool is great - at times (weekend afternoons when the sun is out) it is quite a "scene" which might annoy someone looking to relax but it is what it is (and at other times it is very relaxing). The restaurants are very good and the rooftop bar/club PHD is great on a Saturday (although be aware that it is run separately from the hotel so after 11 or so, being a hotel guest does not guarantee access). staff - friendly and very helpful, changed our room the following day we asked for it, rooms - very nicely arranged and clean, cool metro-style bathrooms, lavender aroma and pretty good complimentary coffee. very good location, just next to Highline, quiet during the night, comfortable mattress and good size bed (King) in our first room. The staff, location and excellent value. The rooms are small but very nicely equipped. 22nd street is more quiet than most, so the street noise was very low for NY. Neighborhood is full of restaurants and shops, subway is a short block away, and there is a Citibike stand right outside the front door.

The location is excellent - right near the subway station, the staff was very helpful and friendly, the beds are comfortable (as in all Courtyard hotels), the room was clean, the hotel has guest laundry facility (this is important to me), the lobby is very pleasent -

The staff was very friendly, the pictures of the hotel is real: "What you see is what you get" -
The beds are comfortable, rooms has a good size for a hotel in Manhattan - Clean and nice!
The bar is open til 02.00 and has a smoking area.
There is free coffe in the lobby in the mornings, and fresh water and ice tea doing the day.

It is quiet at night time, and is therefor both family friendly as group fri -
The staff were brilliant. On check in we discovered another persons luggage in our room. They promptly removed that and then put us in another room....along with 3 free breakfasts, cocktails, beer and food! Gave us a late check out at no extra cost and the bar staff are very friendly. A great, clean comfortable room and not far from the sights or subway. I would stay again.

The front desk girls were amazing .... very happy and extremely helpful. We had room 1601 (on the 16th floor) and had a view of the Empire State Building which was fab. The hotel was very quite at night .... just what we wanted. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to friends/family. For the money, it far exceeded our expectations. Greenwich and Soho are literally on the doorstep, so great for eating and shopping.

the hotel was ideally located. All staff were very helpful and friendly, and rooms were excellent. HOWEVER, beware of booking a high-floor room thinking this will give you a view. I booked two high-floor rooms. One had a lovely view over the skyline, while the other had a view of a brick wall!
