Location was great! Its a very historical building and its been updated. On the first night, there was banging like someone was using a hammer at 9pm and I called the front desk and it stopped! Also, the door man was such a delight...helped get our car, load the car, offered help with directions, even gave our son some small toys! -

I loved this hotel and have stayed in many. There is a shuttle that brings you to major stops in Cambridge. Super convient and arrives after five mins of calling for only 5$ a day!
There is a nice lobby and this is close to Starbucks and Trader joes so no breakfast included isn't a huge loss.
Comfy rooms. Nice staff. Great price & location.

Hotel 140 is located only a 5-minute walk from the rear exit of Back Bay Railroad Station. Upon arrival I had taken the train from Springfield, MA. I followed the drive where the local buses pull into Back Bay Station right out to Clarendon Street and bore left. I had just a half-block walk from that point to the front entrance of the hotel. Staff was very nice, and the hotel/room itself was very modern yet cozy. Although a bit far from downtown, there is a T stop right outside so it is still very convenient to get to wherever you want to go. -
Great value compared to bigger hotels in the city. Very accessible. Terrific comfort with all the facilities we needed. Staff are excellent.

The Kendall has a welcoming and helpful staff. They loaned us an

It's better than most 4 or 5 star hotels in Boston. Brand new studios with a great fit out. Although there is no room service facility but across the street was a 7/11, restaurant and dry cleaners. Location is about 4 blocks away from newbury street.
