  The staff (Maris, at the front desk, was specially helpful), the facilities, the breakfast lounge and the good environment. It's also super well located with a cable car station right at the corner.   For both business and family. Great location, in the city but not with all the noise. Close to the piers and Chinatown. Really enjoyed it! - Its walking distance to Union square and Chinatown. Tram passes right in front. Very nice rooms and very friendly staff.

  I had to step up the itinerary of my trip by two days. Although I didn't get the same room class/price, the day manager worked with me over the phone to get a room booked. When I arrived, the (same?) manager noted that we had one small child, and changed the room to accomodate, without changing the price.   Out of context the rate seems a little bit expensive... But we compared with so many other hotels in the area, and I really think this was the best hotel for this price range! The location was amazing - north beach on one side and chinatown on the other; walking distance to fisherman's wharf... We used the parking garage and it was very safe & private, and I actually didn't mind paying for it because I woul - I did like they offered breakfast which other hotels in the area didn'T. Breakfast was simple: cereals, breads, juices, boiled eggs. The price was good compared to others in the area. I liked the location, I wouldn't normally stay in "china town" but I enjoyed the experience. One street over is North Beach, which isn't a "beach". More appropriate name should be "little italy"; very good italian restaurants. I would stay here again if the prices stayed the way they were.

  The location was exceptional. You are one block from the Mark Hopkins, Fairmount and Huntington Hotel. The building is a condo that about 20 rooms have been turned into Hotel Suites so you don not have the front desk clerk or amenities of many 4 star hotels but you have a beautiful studio apartment that has stainless steel appliances, flat screen ... vad folk säger » tv, fully equpted kitchen and wifi with your own router in the room so the speed is very good. I did not miss the door man. However, you do need to co - Great location, very friendly staff, comfortable bed, Wifi high speed. I would highly recommend this place for people that need a mid to long- term place to stay.

Shower in bathroom great pressure and nice and hot. Would recommend for short stopover, certainly not luxury but adequate.

  The staff was friendly and helpful. The room, while rather small, was clean and neat. The bathroom, while very small (I've had larger bathrooms on cruise ships), was also clean, neat and stocked with sufficient towels and basic amenities. Fortunately, the bed was very comfortable. Was very quiet, slept wonderfully. Decor quaint & beautiful. Bed comfy, water pressure great. Bkft included was good & filling. Cannot say enough great things about this adorable hotel.   Our hotel was in a perfect location and it suited our needs very well.We were able to enjoy the city just by walking out the front door -Chinatown's gates were about ten steps away - and it was convenientlylocated near public transportation, both into the city from the airportand throughout the neighborhoods.
