  Location is great. Staff was very helpful. We were sent to a room initially that had been cleaned but then it looked like someone had come afterwards to shower and dress (used razor in shower, empty perfume bottle, towel and robe used, etc.) The staff was very apologetic, sent us to a better room and sent up a bottle of red wine.   Staff we're amazing. We went to celebrate my partners 30th and they help arrange champagne and chocolate Strawberries for our arrival in the room and managed to upgrade us and give us an early check in. The plunge bar was very cool and had some cocktails which were great. When it came to leaving as we wasn't able to get back to ou - Loved the convenience of the drive up and valet, although $50 wa a little expensive. $265 room with 2 lunch salads and 1 small pot of coffee and a bottle of water (room service) and valet put the room charge to $460. Ended up being pretty expensive for one night. We may consider staying again, but more expensive than we expected.

  I have found my "home" for my overnight stays in New York City, for business and for leisure. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the room clean, well designed and stocked with the right amenities. The location is great for downtown shopping, restaurants and gallery hopping. The room was a decent size, very comfortable for two and very clean. The location was perfect for us - easy to get uptown or downtown. Loved the Italian restaurant in the hotel - great for lunch and a nice outdoor patio. Highly recommended.

  Beautiful historic building and beautifully decorated large room with lots of character...large restored bathroom and original wood floors. No mass-produced look. Nice glass window-lots of light. Adecuate closet, nice staff. Most delightful garden in front with a funky restored bus where you could drink coffee and others. Nice staff. - I loved the large rooms and bathrooms and the beautifully tasteful renovation of the old Seminary building - very classy. But especially the location near the High Line for walking and near Chelsea Market and all the great restaurants. The staff was super accommodating an genuinely nice and there is a gourmet coffee/tea bar in the lobby with lovely fresh backed goods for the morning.

  We live 60 plus miles from the city and have come in often for weekends and stayed in numerous hotels over the years. This is by far the very best experience we have ever had and I will never think of booking any other hotel.   After long sessions on line searching for a hotel we were thrilled with our selection. The Jade Inn exceeded our expectations. It was truly an awesome experience.   I was attending a conference at NYU. The hotel is right at the heart of NYU and so was a convenient location for me. The beautiful Washington Square Park is just steps away from the hotel. I like that the hotel is situated in a safer and quieter part of the city, yet within easy reach of the attractions in the city.   Outside construction noise worried me upon arrival, but we were given a room that faced the back courtyard and overall our stay was very quiet. The room itself was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. While smaller than usual hotel rooms, it provided us with enough space for a short weekend stay.
