  We loved everything. We have stayed at several large and boutique hotels on the Gold Coast and the Peninsula is probably the best across the board. I have a difficult last name, but all of the staff immediately remembered it and also pronounced it correctly. - The location couldn't have been more convenient!   The hotel is in an excellent location. I really like the courtyard and the clean environment.The staff were excellent especially the janitors - 5 star service. Warm and friendly staff. The fact that they do not accept tips made their committment to excellence all the more valid.

Especially Nabeel and Jared were very kind and gave us a lot of great tips about what to do and where to go in Chicago.   I liked the views of the lake...they were exquisite. The room was large and comfortable including a minibar and a little kitchenette (sink only).   We liked the hotel. It was in a good location if you are visiting the city. The Hotel Staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived late at night and had a problem with checkin. Our reservation was for a double room away from the elevator with a river view. They only had two rooms left and they were by the elevator. Our comfortable room on the 21st floor, gave us a view of Lake Michigan, the Chicago River, State Street and nearby skyscrapers. We would definitely stay there again.
