I plan this weekend trip for my husband's 59 birthday. The location of the hotel was very quiet and nice. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good. The room and the view was very nice. We stayed in the king size suite which was nice and cozy. The room was very spacious and huge. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back again. It was close to malls, eating places and grocery stores, etc. Very nice.

I travel a good deal and this was a pleasant surprise. The asst, manager who greeted me showed exceptional friendliness. I had made a mistake in my reservation, & she found a room for me. Hotel was very nice, room was spacy with a big bathroom. Pool was also good working till 22h and no people in it :). Everything was very good. The one thing that you could improve would be better coffee for breakfast!. Great location if one is traveling north. You are out of the Atlanta trafic when leaving. The ease of making a reservation, and getting situated after my arrival. Parking was good. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very nice for the price. Big room. Very clean. Great value. Everything. Great breakfast and dining area. The bed was very comfortable. Location. I have no dislikes about this hotel. Only one elevator near the front, so often a wait. I learned later there was another near the back, but it seems not many knew of this. A construction problem, not the staff'S. A small complaint at a good place. There was a VERY bad smell in the room (it is non-smoking room, not that smell). Room seemed clean but smelled like there were 10 people training in it 5 minutes ago. Also a big group of kids/teens made a lot of noise in the night. I am ok with loud kids but this time it was just too much- very loud shouting and door clapping for about 1 hour after midnight. They even tried to get in our room (maybe by mistake) so I could hardly sleep. A little off the beaten path if you desire to do a lot in down town Atlanta. I had a smoking room. Perhaps I did not make my preference for non-smoking clear somewhere along the line. Shower and water were terrible. Nothing. We stayed from fri to sat and the staff never came to clean the room or change towels. Noisy neighbor's. Nothing. In the 'fitness centre' only two out of the three machines that required power actually worked. There was other damage to the bikes that would also mean they would be useless if there was power (such as no foot straps on the bikes). Primary lift (the one closest to the reception) was out of order for my entire 7 day stay. **No fault of the hotel, and I completely understand the reason, but...** The pool closed too early. The elevators were very, very slow...and maybe the halls could have been a bit cleaner...need to add bacon and sausage to the buffet...Hampton does well with that : ). no meat for breakfast. Dogs everywhere, useing parking lot as toilet, loose in hallways, barking as you pass the room, and the elevator not working. The spa was not working. Breakfast not so much!. I liked everything. The breakfast was very poor. Good but nothing special. Elevator slow and room doors rather thin. The staff was disorganized and constantly argued with each other. The "gentleman" , particularly, was derogatory to his co-worker--a female. We were assigned a room only to discover by opening the door that it was already occupied. The towel rack in our room we finally did get fell apart. No toilet lid on the toilet made it perilous for your things ---especially since the towel rack was right above it. That the staff member that checked me in would not give me a receipt after I paid cash saying I would get one when I checked out the next morning. When I went to check out, the new staff member said I never paid. Something "fishy" went on. Also, the room was not kept up very well. The walls and sink in the bathroom were cracked.
