The Hotel is at the centre of the town, near the train station, with a small but well organised room. There were flowers everywhere, in the table, and the window. The breakfast is tailored to everybody’s will . and the personnel very friendly.
I've been there for only one night, but I can definitively recomend this B&B!

We stayed at Beckmead House on two occasion separated by about a week. On each occasion we found the hosts to be accommodating and friendly with quality service. It is handy to quality eateries and tourist services.
Great hosts, very welcoming. Gave us both rooms on the top floor, was excellent. Very well appointed and well cared for. Breakfast was amazing and something we looked forward to.
Everything was great! Te room was comfy, stuffs were nice, very helpful. Enjoyed my stay! 2 minutes walk to town centre, 15 to the lake, 5 mins to train station, nice location!.

We learnt from previous B&B expereinces that our room may be on the top floor accessed by narrow staircase. We packed an overnight bag save carrying heavy suitcases up staircases. Having a separate toilet adjacient to our room was a slight inconvenience.

the mattress was a little firm but once you got comfortable i guess its only for sleeping on!.
Room 5 was very cold despite raidiator and electric blanket so one of us did not get any sleep! Toilet was across the hall which we were aware of, but the toilet 'room' was cupboard size!.
twin room: there is no way to watch TV comfortably if you sleeping on the second bed ... it would be nice to have a DAB in the room as well!.
