There is also a candlelit dining room, 2 guest lounges with books and board games, and a cosy bar with a selection of beverages. Lyzzick Hall Hotel features a small spa with sauna, whirlpool bath and heated indoor swimming pool, which has views towards the mountains. Free Wi-Fi and private on-site parking are also available for guests. Located in the heart of the Lake District, Lyzzick Hall is just 2 miles from Keswick town centre, and 3 miles from Derwent Water. Keswick Golf Club and Castlerigg Stone Circle are both a 10 minute drive away.

Good food, comfortable hotel, spa facilities, friendly staff, plus a super location about 3 miles outside of Keswick. a relaxing stay in a delightful setting, loved the pool and spa and the food was fabulous, worth another visit.Food, swimming pool, relaxed atmosphere, wifi access, comfortable room. Attention to detail throughout the hotel ,our welcome ,superb clean roomwith excellent bedding ,superb breakfast .Hotel location is great withfabulous views.highly recommended.Excellent pool.

I tink you could do with advice posters for clients like "please shower after sauna" or "please shower before entering swiming pool or jacuzzi". Wesaw some people go straight from sauna, covered in sweat straight so the swimig pool or the jacuzzi.... very un-hygenic!!!!!!. breakfast wasn't the best I have ever had but ok ~ i.e. Alpen was too sweet and sausage was hard ~ scrambled eggs were slightly brown on top. Breakfast staff not brilliant - very short serving time 8.30 - 9.30. We got timings wrong and arrived at 9.35 and apparantly couldn't get a cooked breakfast at that time...... not even a boiled egg. Hotel was altogether great - my only other (very small) negative was that the restaurant was very brightly lit - would've been far nicer and relaxing with some slightly more subtle lighting!. Bathrooms were not of a standard to justify £120/night. I thought that the room was hugely over priced for the facitlies. The shower was awful - constantly changing temperature and really weak - and the rooms were much more basic than we expected. I can only imagine that you pay for the view because it certainly wasn't the room. We left feeling very deflated!.
