  The building has 3 stories and houses 2 studios per floor. The studios are well equipped for groups, families and couples who don't mind a home away from home on vacation and do not demand a traditional hotel with all its services attached. It was quiet for normal sleepers, fussy sleepers who like open windows at night should take earplugs, since ... vad folk säger » the 5 o'clock prayer could be heard (a fussy sleeper mentioned this to me) The staff was the most helpful I have ever seen - we parted as friends. The - Loved the Location as it is fairly close to all the major tourist spots like Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi and Bascilica Cistern. There is a very nice cafe just across the road where you can have breakfast, lunch dinner etc. Free Wifi available in the room and the speed was great. Kahar, the guy managing the place was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend the place for anyone to stay.

  Everything was perfect. Ayhan (the manager) and the rest of the staff were absolutely helpful. You get everything from the hotel and their staff, any problems and it will get dealt with promptly. Location was the best, close to near most of the main sites such as the Topkapi Museum, The Blue Mosque and the sea. Wifi was great in all places and the rooftop was just amazing to see the view of the - size of apartment is great for a family. Location was excellent (Once you find it). Good value for money.   I have been to Turkey 3 times, this was the best hotel experience that I ever had, it started when we arrived very early to chack in and the gentleman didnt do like other hotels asking us to comeback when our rooms will be ready, he simply upgraded us to see view room for free as he saw my parents are old to go & comeback, hotel was extremely ... vad folk säger » clean , I never so this even in 5 stars hotels, the hotel owner helped me in money exchange and I got betting than the market rates, location was sooo - Marmara Konak Old City is located in a quite place and very close to sea as well as the top 4 attractions in Istanbul. I got up early to see sunrise in the rooftop and went to Blue Mosque almost everyday during the vacation. Moreover, It's very convenient to live in this hotel as it is surrounded by many restaurants with Traditional Turkish features. If it is possible, I will live in Marmara Konak Old City again when come to Istanbul next time.

  The hotel is conveniently located in the district of Sultanhamet. Major attractions such as the Blue Mosque or the Hagia Sofia are very close (within <5 minutes walking distance). Its a great starting point to explore Instanbuls Old City. View of the sea, with a lovely rooftop balcony accessable to all the sufi apart apartments. Apartment was clean, and well maintained every day. Located in a quiet street. Less than 10 mins walk to Blue mosque and other main attractions. Pascal was very helpful and always there for friendly advice on anything and everything. Would recommend to anyone.
