It is a good place for families to stay. Apartment was nice and clean and it was near Taksim square. The staff were super friendly and eager to help with everything. There is a supermarket nearby! The hotel location is fine. but you can hear kids playing in the street during the day! Actually, the residence location turned out to be really awesome, since there were demonstrations in Taksim square during our stay. The building has 3 stories and houses 2 studios per floor. The studios are well equipped for groups, families and couples who don't mind a home away from home on vacation and do not demand a traditional hotel with all its services attached.

Loved the Location as it is fairly close to all the major tourist
spots like Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi and Bascilica Cistern.
There is a very nice cafe just across the road where you can have
breakfast, lunch dinner etc. Free Wifi available in the room and the
speed was great. Kahar, the guy managing the place was extremely
friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend
the place for anyone to stay.

Marmara Konak Old City is located in a quite place and very close to sea as well as the top 4 attractions in Istanbul. I got up early to see sunrise in the rooftop and went to Blue Mosque almost everyday during the vacation. Moreover, It's very convenient to live in this hotel as it is surrounded by many restaurants with Traditional Turkish features. If it is possible, I will live in Marmara Konak Old City again when come to Istanbul next time.
