  Excellent hotel from A-Z. As a frequent traveler i don't get overexcited easily, but this hotel really deserves the max points. If you have the chance, take the suite having two balconies with direct view of the Matterhorn - awesome and worth every single buck. The train station is close but nevert - We loved the hotel and the location. The staff was very friendly and unquestionably efficient. The spa was first rate with an amazing pool, Jacuzzi and a northern style sauna. We thoroughly enjoyed this aspect. We made full use of the kitchen facility since we were a couple with 6 (hungry!)college age kids. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen.   I've been to quite a few hotels around the world and found Hotel Schweizerhof to be exceptional above the rest. I have never ever been treated so friendly at a hotel and felt like they actually meant it. The food was also excellent. So Excellent service, delicious food, and very friendly cosy atmosphere.   The hotel staff were helpful and made us feel very welcome. Our room was comfortable with a lovely view of the Matterhorn. The breakfast selection was excellent and the bread on offer was the best we've ever tasted. The spa was the perfect place to relax after a day's skiing - tranquil and beautifully clean.   We were 13 nights in the hotel and had a fabulous time. It is a very nicely renovated hotel, modern but very user friendly. Rooms are spaceous and nicely decorated. Sauna was very complete for a hotel sauna. Massage should be pre booked in winter but are very good and can be recommended. Dinner was excellent as well as breakfast.
