  New bathrooms, really clean and tidy in general and we got a nice view of the river Rhine. Owner was lovely and gave us a map of the place and details about the falls, which we were there to see. Relaxing little town too. - I love the friendly staff! The lady was very helpful and calm. The biggest plus is that is it very clean.   I have stayed at the Kronenhof on several occasions with my 8 year old daughter. The hotel is well located within a 5 minute walk to the train station, the staff are very friendly and helpful and there is an excellent selection of what to eat and the the choice between two styles of restaurant. We were lucky enough to have a room overlooking the castle view and although the room wasn't luxury, it was comfortable. There is a smart bar where you can watch people arriving for the concerts in the church next door and the location of the hotel is superb. We didn't eat there, but breakfast was okay.

  Very clean and recently renovated, with excellent sanitary accessories. The rooms are fully-equipped, with vanity set, iron and ironing board, even earplugs for the train's noise. The staff is very kind (they let us enjoy our breakfast until much after the service's end), and the internet is fast. Not least, the breakfast is rich and delicious, in... vad folk säger » cluding yogurts, milk, cereals, fresh fruits, omelet, sausages and hams, pancakes, jams, and much more. - This was one of the best hotels we've stayed at, although it was not inexpensive. Our room was superb : and we felt we were the first guests ever to use the room. The en suite bathroom was brilliant, although the shower didn't exactly pin you to the wall. In spite of being opposite the main station, the room was quiet and not over-heated. Staff were helpful, the breakfast spread was terrific, and on the whole, we were very happy with our stay.

  The attitude of the staff was outstanding. I had paid for a room in a dormitory which slept 6, on a bunk bed. When I arrived, they put me in my own room, with sink, tv etc. because they told me that the only person staying in the room I had booked was an unpleasant character. These examples show how they were willing to go the extra mile to make you feel we - The location is easily accessible from the train station and is right in the middle of the old town. The kitchenette was helpful, wifi available. Most important of all, staff was extremely friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

  The hostel (SYHA) was great - 500 year old castle on huge grounds (the main door is original too), with stables, childrens play area, outdoor foosball and some awesome trees. It's not so big as to get lost inside and there are not huge dorm rooms like other hostels. And the area was quiet, you wont even know there are other houses around.
