The staff were so accomodating, going as far as making cheese sandwiches after the ironman when all the local restaurants were closed so

The welcome was perfect, we arrived by car and parked as close to the
hotel as possible - after checking in at reception I was escorted to the
underground parking garage and took my car down in a lift to the secure
parking area. We stayed in a good sized executive room which had free

The rooms in the Alexander had been done to a very good standard for a small hotel. The breakfast room was small but very clean, the food was lovely with lots of selection and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location was excellent for a the major sites of the city and was right in the heart of a lively area with numerous bars and restaurants to choose from. It was also only a ten minute walk from the station and transportation links. Overall i would definitely recommend this hote

This was a great apartment for a visit to Zurich with friends. The location is perfect. The apartment is a very short walk away to main train station and the Bahnhofstrasse, and is located in the middle of the Niederdorf area. Tons of bars and restaurants nearby. The apartment was very clean (I would expect nothing less in Switzerland!) and the staff was on time in meeting us to give us the key. The hotel is surrounded by many bars and restaurants, very close to the
lake, away from the train station about 20 minutes walking, the staffs
are very friendly and helpful, they assisted us in arranging the city
tours, and also bed sheets were clean as well as the bathroom. The
breakfast was good and restaurant offer a good meal during evening such
as fajitas and Burger, if I visit Zurich again California Hotel will be
my choice definitely.
