A simple B&B in Luzern that rents out a handful of rooms in a small apartment building near the train station. The room itself was spotless and looked to have been recently renovated. Shared bathroom was clean. The staff was very friendly, and recommended an excellent restaurant nearby where we had arguably the best meal of our entire trip

1. very courteous and helpful staff
2. we had booked the hotel from a date which was a day ahead of our actual check in date. Having been in transit with 2 children for over 12 hours, we were willing to pay extra charges for a day to ensure that the room was available for us to quickly settle down the moment we arrived at Luzern. We had even booked our room accordingly. Lucia was generous and didn't charge for that extra day!

The staff were wonderful, so helpful and engaging...... The Bed and Breakfast is located a short bus trip or 15 minute walk from the centre of the old city in Luzern. It's a simple establishment, but the warmth of the hosts surpassed
any other place we stayed in; it always felt like we were coming back
every evening to a friend's place! This warmth was felt starting
with their reply to my email enquiry before our stay and lasted right
through to our check out. Clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet rooms;
hearty breakfast included. Pleasant neighbourhood, conveniently near
No.1 Bus line which brought us to many major sightseeing and transport

First of all we were welcomed by our lovely hostess who helped with our
parking and bags. Our room was larger than advertised and very
comfortable and well furnished. The house is very nice and feels more
like an upmarket B&B than a hotel but no marks off for that.
Everyone spoke perfect English and were very helpful. Lovely breakfast.

The place was fantastic. People were brilliant . I think it's amongst the best stays I have had with respect to the friendly persons. Felix and his wife are lovely people and very helpful and kind natured. Really the best hosts I've ever come across. I'm definitely going back to villa Maria . Thanks so much Felix. U made our holiday even better -
-Close to town - easy bus access (1 minute walk to stop) or a 15-20 minute walk to town.
-Had to leave early before breakfast was actually served and one of the staff offered to set out some items for us to grab on our way out prior to the staff setting everything out for the rest of the guests.
-Breakfast had a wide selection and very filling.
