There is no front desk, simply a key box where you enter a code from the booking to get in. The ladies working in the restaurant are very friendly and up for a chat. Since they are directly connected to the hotel, they are the ones to ask questions since the hotel has no reception.   Very good value for money for Zurich. Excellent location close to Limmatoplatz which is a 5 min tram ride to the train station. Nearby is a new and up and coming area with lively restaurants and bars in Gasometerstrasse and Neugasse. Avoid the rest of the bars. The apartment building is modest but clean and modern. Unlike some other reviewers we had no problem with check-in and there's free - My girlfriend & I stayed at Casa Heinrich during our stay in Zurich for my Birthday. The staff were friendly and polite, the rooms are clean and modern and (for Zurich) it was good value. The hotel is located very close to the main station but next to the west Zurich district, which is the 'trendy' part. It also has very good transport links and super easy access to the main town & old town. Location is perfect and in a very quiet area.

  The rooms were reasonably sized. We could keep and open 2 big bags while having enough space to walk. The kitchen was very small but it was fine as we cooked for our kids only. The hotel and rooms were clean. For the price and location, it was a good place. The staff was very courteous and helpful and this place is about 2 tram stops on tram 10 or... vad folk säger » 10 mins walk from Zurich train station. - The Astor is a short tram ride (uphill) from the train station - take #7 towards the zoo and get off at the first stop once the tram turns uphill after crossing the river. The unit we had has a small kitchen that was very handy. The beds are comfortable and the rooms on the back side of the hotel are very quiet. There is a free laundry machine! We absolutely loved our stay here.
