  Lovely chalet, comfortable,warm with everything one needs.Lots of information about things to do in the area. The chalet was on the quiet side of the valley with lovely walkes passing right by the door.

  Great for children because the swiss ski school is right outside with gentle slopes and magic carpet lifts with groups for beginners (the Swiss start skiing as 3 year olds) Very practical also for adults of all levels as the ski rental is attached to the hotel and you can ski directly down to the gondelbahn.   The staff/owners were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially helpful with childrens meals and with providing info relating to our stay in Grindelwald. The food and service very good - Hospitality was excellent, location is perfect - near the village but away from any noise. A real find.

  An idyllic setting. Fantastic views of the Eiger and other surrounding peaks. The accommodation and facilities were excellent. Very close to all the great walks. Sonja made us feel very welcome. - Very friendly hosts, great location next to ski piste, ideal for wintersports. Clean and comfortable. Renovated and spacious chalet with large balcony.

A good swiss style breakfast with plenty of choice. - The hotel was very comfortable and staff very helpful and friendly. Bedrooms were suitable and well furnished. Breakfast was very good.

  This is a lovely, family run hotel, typical of ski, hiking accommodation in this area. The Cabana is a not a large hotel and has a quiet atmosphere.The staff were very helpful and friendly, the South facing rooms have fabulous views of the Eiger and are clean, comfortable, with a spacious balcony.   We stayed for two nights and felt our stay to be one of the best during our 8 days trip to Switzerland. An excellent and well managed family run hotel, which maintains the best standards they can. Very ethical and friendly in dealing with guests. Extremely helpful and courteous. Good location (less than 100 mtrs from the train station and city cen... vad folk säger » tre). Would definitely check-in again whenever we get a chance to be in Grindelwald. - Friendly staff who loaned my wife a pair of gloves when we went up the Jungfrau railway and who made us feel really welcome. Free parking round the back of the hotel. Don't park in the spaces with meters at the bottom of the sloped drive but go up the slope, drop off baggage at the front door and then continue round to the parking spaces at the back.
