  Very well situated in the middle of Grindelwald with stunning views of the Eiger.. Lovely clean Alpine type room with wood paneling. Nice continental breakfast. Very pleasant owners. Highly recommended. - The location is perfect for all needs. We really enjoyed Robert, Monica and the cleaning lady, Monica's school friend. Great Choice!!

  A good hotel close to the station with quick access to the ski area and in the centre of the town close to the buss station so quick access to the ski buses. A good swiss style breakfast with plenty of choice. - The hotel was very comfortable and staff very helpful and friendly. Bedrooms were suitable and well furnished. Breakfast was very good.

  Memorable stay. Beautiful location. Good breakfast. Clean rooms. We will surely be coming again. As a note of info but not criticism, it is for people who wish to stay away from the hustle bustle of touristy activities and who are ready to trek or drive upto this place. The place has not got any elevator so be careful to limit the baggage numbers ... vad folk säger » and weight. - Gasthof Panorama really does justify its name. Each morning we ate our breakfast looking out on a beatiful range of snow covered mountains. Our room was simple but spacious with good facilities and a comfortable large double bed. It was wisper quiet. The lady owner was friendly and very helpful. It was our favourite stop of this holiday.

  Staying at the Sonnenberg was nothing but a pleasure. This family run hotel is cosy, comfortable and as far as you get from a big anonymous hotel. Yes it's up a hill and you can't get your car very close but that is part of its charm and perfectly clear before you book. You feel as if you are part of the family and treated with great friendliness ... vad folk säger » and courtesy. The owners are a genuine Swiss family and as such language is occasionally interesting but that is half the charm. My last memory is of - Very welcoming and sunny serving staff who also respected your privacy. Hotel extremely clean and excellent varied breakfast buffet. Food beautiful in general. Lovely view of mountains. Great range of information available about the Grindelwald area. Remembered me from the previous year and seemed pleased to see me again. I felt very safe as an individual female traveller, which is one of the reasons I returned this year.
