  The view: Situated on a hill top almost and offers gorgeous views of the city, mountains & greenery. Centrally located and very close to the Tooth Relic Temple. The Spa, designed like cave rooms, just fantastic. Morever every guest was given a complimentary 10minute foot or head massage. - Super friendly staff .   Earl’s Regency Hotel at Kandy, one of the Hill Stations in Sri Lanka is situated on the hill facing Mahavili River.   This hotel is great value for money. I stayed here for two nights sharing a room with two female friends and our room was lovely. The service from the staff was always excellent, everyone very friendly and happy to help. The outdoor pool is really nice, a great way to relax after a busy day sightseeing. Location is good too.   We had a wonderful experience at Amya Hills, Kandy. It was our 20th anniversary in Nov 2013. To our pleasant surprise, they decorated the bed with flowers with Happy Anniversary written on bed.   The location was perfect and the staff was SO accommodating. We asked to move one of the tables out for breakfast by the pool and they instantly did it.   We really enjoyed our short stay in the hotel. They were very facilitating and hospitable towards us and assisted us in all ways possible. The staff were the selling point for us. Very professional, friendly and helpfull. There is free wifi in the reception area which was handy. The rooms are very spacious with mountain / valley view.   We spent two nights at the hotel. The staff were helpful and the service was very good. Basic but clean rooms. The wi-fi was working well in the room. The food is also quite good.   The setting on the hillside with its view down to the town was a plus. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. - The room was clean and the shower had actually hot water - a rarity in our stay in Sri Lanka.

  This was a great 'experience' hotel - we stayed because of the heritage associated with it. An old colonial hotel which is a little crumbly around the edges but not too much and has lots of period features like an old fashioned cage lift etc. Nice garden area, and bar and a veyr swanky reception area with wifi. Hotel facility and food was nice, staff is humble and friendly.Hotel gives feeling of heritage place and interior is so much from British Era which makes this hotel look like a palace, wooden flooring and antique interior is nice.

  We spent 2 nights at Hotel Suisse, really enjoyed it and were sad to leave. The hotel has so much character and a happy and relaxed atmosphere. It is perfectly situated on lake Kandy within walking distance to the Tooth Temple. The staff are friendly and attentive. We had some lovely meals in the 2nd floor restaurant which is open all day. The first evening a man played the keyboard and sang an - We got in before check in time but it was no bother for the front staff. They very quickly had our room ready giving us to use the free wifi in the lobby, we were treated to an ice cold drink. Jehan went out of his way and this was reflected in the other staff members including the dining room staff. We wanted a room overlooking the pool and got it despite being busy with the esala festivities. The room was large, clean and the toilet was great.
