All in all, is a cool place and best value ever, absolutely recommendable guesthouse! -
We needed to be in Negombo for a wedding and this guest house was good value for money. The room was cleaner than expected and the owner was able to welcome us at 2am in the morning. There is a cafe serving breakfast right next door so don't worry about it being bed only. It was worth walking the streets in the evening as lots of restaurants and trinket shops are open. Overall a nice place to stop for 1 night.

We stayed at this hotel for last three nights before leaving the Sri-
Lanka. As we have already visited all planned places of interest, we
only needed a calm relaxing stay near the ocean.
The rooms are large enough, well furnitured and clean. Though most of facilities looks used and are asking for update, everything works perfectly: a/c, fan, TV,

But what really impressed us was -
Loved our stay here. The pool is clean. The bar has cold beer and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. The buffet breakfast is great. The staff were friendly and helpful.The rooms good, but we had little hot water if any some days. It is easy to get about Negombo with the many tuk tuks. Some good restaurants close by. I would recommend this hotel.

It was in a good location, close to the beach, pubs and restaurants. Overall it was a very relaxing holiday and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. We would come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Hotel. We stayed for 4 nights. When we arrived the swimming pool had maintenance and we were not allowed to swim next 2 days. I was a solo traveler and liked the fact that it felt very safe there and like a bit of a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of outside. There is an ayurvedic (a bit rustic, but no problem here) adjacent to the hotel which was great and there was a beach chair in front so if you want to get away from the other tourists it's possible to have your

We arrived here in the evening after a tiring journey so the comfy beds were really appreciated. The room had a patio from which you could see and hear the sea, it's a beautiful view. The food was excellent and good value and the staff are really friendly and very helpful. We were here for 5 days sunbathing, reading books and swimming in the pool. I'd definitely stay here again and use it as a base for going further afield.

Hotel J in Negombo is a great place to arrive or depart Sri Lanka from, the proximity to the airport is great. The pools very good and the beach at the right time of year would be great. A basic but comfortable hotel that served our purposes very well. -

It was my second time staying here and that says it all that I returned. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fine and all and all it is value for money. I was there for two nights, and, although not a family member, I was very much treated like one. The place is perfectly located and is suitable for those who long for a tranquil stay somewhere.
