  The staff here were fantastic and very friendly, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is centrally located and close to the beach.   A classic modernista era family run hotel (it was previously their home). We loved it because there were keys, not key cards, the furniture is all old fashioned but everything was clean and light and original. Original stone floor tiling may not be to everyone's taste and it is basic (no phone in the room, small TV but those for me are plusses) T... vad folk säger » he swimming pool is small but perfect, the breakfasts charming and the staff open and friendly without being too much. The beach is a short walk away - For a two stars it can't be better than this: We had the double room with two queen-sized beds for two with access to the roof. Room was so large it could be a suite. It is decorated with art-noveau style (furniture, floor and bathroom too). The entire hotel is decorated in this style. A treat, really. Location is very good. Train station is 100 or so meters away. And with a short stroll anyone can reach the beaches, 10 to 15 minutes. Breakfast is not overpriced. We'll go there for a second tim

  All the staff in the hotel was AMAZINGLY friendly! Never met such friendly and helpfull staff before! They were outgoing and willing to do everything in their power to make you feel welcomed! Despite all the minuses location made this hotel the best choice for that money. - The friendliest staff we have come across in a while. Location couldn't be more central.   The hotel is nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. Everything is tidy and felt like good quality. Breakfast was not huge but of very good quality and more than enough for us.   Boutique Hotel Davallada is a dream. We stayed on the "first floor" but is actually the second above the restaurant. The room is a suite, with large lounge couches, soft bed, tv, great light from windows and a large bathroom. The staff was STELLAR! From the kitchen staff to LUISA they all were so fantastic. We had to get a taxi at 4:30am and Luisa... vad folk säger » was up, with breakfast, coffee and the taxi waiting outside. It's steps from the beach, church and shopping. We can not recommend this place enough!! - We loved everything about our stay. The staff was absolutely amazing (especially Lucia), the breakfast was perfect, the location for food and the beach couldn't was great (quiet street just off the beach) and the room as superb. Both the ac and WiFi worked really well. We were in room 101. We ended up canceling our trip to downtown Barcelona and opted to stay the remainder of our vacation here. Highly recommended!!
