  Although there was no ocean view, we were within a block of the beach. The hotel is at the edge of the tourist area and it was a nice long walk to the old city center.   The hotel was ideally located for us as it was relatively easy arriving and leaving by car and was a nice walk ( about 20 mins) to the old town, beach and other sites. Onsite parking was available - make sure you get your room card from reception before parking car or you can't use lifts to the hotel! The restaurant wasn't open during our stay, but cafe at the front was good for a drink or a - The staff were very friendly and spoke English. We chose this hotel as we were arriving by car and didn't want to drive right into the city centre. The walk into town only takes 10-15 mins. We also loved the movie theme of the hotel and got the Bob Hoskins room. The rooms have DVD players and you can hire for free, movies from the hotel to watch, so we thought this was pretty cool. Can't comment on the breakfast as we went an ate elsewhere.

  I booked this Hotel for a four night mini break to watch the Heineken Cup quarter final between Biarritz and the Ospreys on Saturday 10th April.We could not have chosen a better Hotel right opposite the Anoeta Stadium.   Pensión Iturriza is an absolute little gem. For me this was a last minute booking, I had intended on staying at another place where my friends were staying, but that didn't work out so booked into PI instead - and I'm so glad I did! The rooms are just lovely. They are superbly clean, comfortable and are - We liked almost everything about our stay. Ibon, the owner, was extremely helpful - giving us information about restaurants, tourist sites, etc. We stayed in two rooms - a double on the second floor (the grandparents) and the apartment on the sixth floor (family with 2 small children). Ibon is renovating the building so there was no elevator but this will be finished in a few weeks. And, as active people, this did not bother us at all. The rooms were clean and large, the view from the apartment
