  The rooms are absolutely clean, the Hotel is modern and nicely detailed. The staff was very nice. The hotel is recomandable for a longer stay. It was a pleasure to be there! - The rooms (and beds!) are enormous and the design was quite innovative and unusual. We loved it.

  Hotel Julia made a fine overnight stay enroute from the ferry port at Santander. The basically furnished room was clean and spacious, providing us with all the facilities we required. The owners, two brothers, were charming and very attentive, and wanted our stay to be a confortable experience. We had a home cooked meal in the restaurant followe... vad folk säger » d by an excellent breakfast. The villge was peaceful and parking easy. Not speaking Spanish was no problem. We will stay again. - I stayed there with my son on our drive down to southern Spain. We arrived a little behind schedule due to traffic . Fantastic welcome and a super meal cooked for us. Room was very clean and more than adequate. Fantastic breakfast to set us on our waty. I cannot thank these people enough for a great stay at their hotel.

  The welcome was excellent, considering that we arrived late (there was a fiesta in the town and our sat-nav route was closed to traffic, so it took over an hour to find a way to get there). The room was well appointed, comfortable and the "freebies" more than you would normally expect. The food was fresh and well prepared, served with a smile and ... vad folk säger » to our surprise accompanied by a bottle of Rioja and one of water where we had been expecting a carafe of "house wine" and a jug from the tap. The buf - Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room with spacious shower room. Evening meal from limited menu de día (3 courses, 3 options for each) was very good value, as was breakfast. Historic building added to the experience. Would certainly stay there again, and for longer next time. Staff were happy to provide pre-dinner drink in absence of conventional bar, and there was wine, beer etc available at dinner.
