  The family were absolutely charming and very helpful - as were all the staff . Location spectacular and peaceful - we had wonderful views of the mountains over the orange trees and couldn't see any of the surrounding houses . We had a very comfortable isolated room and bathroom a short walk from the main house, which suited us . Didn't regret not... vad folk säger » hiring a car, with the hair-raising mountain roads, but it was about 20 minutes walk to the main bus stop, though only half that to the centre of the - Tranquil setting in orange grove, run by Raphael, Lourdes and their staff who love their home, farm and what they do - nothing was too much trouble - beautiful unspoilt natural environment, breakfast in the garden was prepared fresh with natural locally produced ingredients and delicious marmalade made from the oranges. All the facilities were good quality, no intrusive service but nothing lacking - perfect place to relax

  The location was wonderful - we visited just prior to the opening of tourist season, which suited us just fine. The area was very quiet, and everything was close and accessible. We were within 1k of the beach, and walked to the closest town in less than 15 minutes. Bicycles and taxis made everything else we wanted to see a short hop away. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, treating us as if we were - Location is great (700m to Cala Mondrago), everything in the house is in mint condition, very nice and stylish rooms. Breakfast was fine with homemade pastry (cakes etc.) Good pool so you can even not leave the hotel if you like. Yoga teacher comes to the hotel twice a week (10 Euro for a lesson). Best Mallorca's beaches are nearby or can be easily reached by car.

  Lovely, friendly family run business. Beautiful surroundings, quiet and calming. Room with four poster bed, and extremely clean. Nice breakfast with option of freshly cooked omellettes if wanted.   Friendly helpful staff, very cheery welcome each time we entered the hotel. Beautiful minimal style room decor, very clean Gym facilities are perfect and we were the only two using the small gym each evening, with a smart tv to listen to the radio while we did! The high points for us were the staff and high attention to detail in relation to design of the rooms and public spaces....we love t - Absolutely fabulous hotel. It was recently renovated, so everything is still new and shiny. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. The rooms (with small kitchens) are very well equipped. There was even a dishwashing machine in my room which I have never seen in any other hotel. My room also had electric window blinds, large flat screen TV with surround sound bar and a subwoofer. The hotel has premium feel with clear Nordic/Swedish design style. Perfect location in central Palma.

  Staff were ever so friendly. I was only bed and breakfast but the food was great. Room was lovely and it was very peaceful only a few mins walk to the lovely sandy beech. The historical hotel buildings themselves are beautiful. Perhaps though the most striking asset the hotel has is its staff. They were all excellent; always helpful, friendly and attentive. It's difficult to give them sufficient praise. Well done Hotel Sa Bassa, we'll certainly be visiting again.
