  The family were absolutely charming and very helpful - as were all the staff . Location spectacular and peaceful - we had wonderful views of the mountains over the orange trees and couldn't see any of the surrounding houses . We had a very comfortable isolated room and bathroom a short walk from the main house, which suited us . Didn't regret not... vad folk säger » hiring a car, with the hair-raising mountain roads, but it was about 20 minutes walk to the main bus stop, though only half that to the centre of the - Tranquil setting in orange grove, run by Raphael, Lourdes and their staff who love their home, farm and what they do - nothing was too much trouble - beautiful unspoilt natural environment, breakfast in the garden was prepared fresh with natural locally produced ingredients and delicious marmalade made from the oranges. All the facilities were good quality, no intrusive service but nothing lacking - perfect place to relax

  Fantastic rooms and we were given a free upgrade on arrival. The staff were amazing and very accommodating both in the hotel, by the pool and in the restaurant. The restaurant was superb with a fantastic array of food on offer. We will definitely be back! - Excellent service, really friendly staff, beautiful hotel.

We did not need a car at all as it is a ten minute taxi ride from the airport and you can see all the town has to offer by foot. The staff are amazingly friendly and cannot do enough to make sure your stay is a perfect one. They are going to open another one nearer the harbour and we are definitely going to try that one if the Can Cera is anything to go by.

  When we arrived at this lovely, bright, airy hotel, the lady on reception tookmcharge of our luggage and asked dor our passports ro photocopy etc. she suggested we might like a glass of complimentary cava or wine in the hotel's adjacent bar / small restaurant whist she conducted the formalities of the check in - nice touch to the welcome. We were ... vad folk säger » travelling with our daugther to celebrate her 25th birthday, and I think I mentioned this when asking for 2 rooms close or next to each other, forgett - I would call the decor "modern chic", it is new, clean, and tasteful. The rooms are large, the windows double glazed and shuttered as well, so it is eerily quiet at night and very dark in the morning if you leave the shutters on. We had the continental breakfast, very reasonable at 6 euros, upstairs on the terrace with full view over the bay. Some say the location is outside the old city, well it may be, but the walk is only 10 minutes and is a very pleasant walk as well.
