  Silken Puerta ligger perfekt, alldeles intill den nya fina tågstationen och med omedelbar närhet till busstationen som tar en vidare ut i Spanien, till Granada tex dit vi åkte i 2 dagar med buss. I hotellreceptionen pratade man bra engelska vilket inte är vanligt i Malaga. Man är i Spanien, det märks, genuint.   Staff were excellent and so attentive, despite speaking limited English they were always willing to help - ie giving directions, extra pillows etc. Room was minimal but perfect for the price - had a comfy double bed in a private room that was quiet and had an AC which is all we were after! Location is A+. 3min walk to train and bus stations and 1... vad folk säger » 0min to walk into the centre - we didn't need to use any public transport while we were there (about a 20min walk to the beach but it was a pleasant s - I had booked two individual nights, and could easily swop them for the same room, and the very kind lady at reception just charged me very little extra for the more expensive 2nd room. I had a terrace, it was quite (except the bus) I loved looked TV in the lounge (Eurovision) with other quests. I loved it is really near the stations. I highly recommend it!

  Great hotel, right in the middle of lots of nightlife and attractions. Lovely room with a view over the street, but also quiet at night - excellent nights sleep. Staff were fabulous, really friendly and went out of their way to get information about train times, possible train strikes etc. Spotlessly clean everywhere. We liked it so much we went ... vad folk säger » back for 2 more nights after we had travelled to Cordoba . Recommended. - All three members of the reception staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Our room was lovely with a small balcony & large window that opened looking out onto the street below. Also, the bathroom was great. Initially, the room was very warm, but on mentioning this fact to reception, it was immediately rectified & the air on switched on for our return.

  The hotel was just as expected and being fairly new was in good shape. The staff were excellent, far better than some 4 to 5 star hotels we have stayed in. Ideal location for a concert we were going to nearby. The breakfast was also excellent value for money. - Close to the airport and a perfect stop-off.   For a two-star apartment Doña Elvira was the best we can get. As you have to be aware of those two stars, there is nothing to be disappointed about. The location may not be right in the middle of Málaga´s center, but in a three minute walk you will be at the great shopping street. Shopping: - 2 Minutes to the supermarket, wich has a big market Hal... vad folk säger » l next to it (opening times: Mo-Sa ~8am - 3pm!!) - 2 Minutes to the theater - 5 Minutes to the Plaza de la Merced (where Picasso was born) - 15 Minute - The apartment was well-equipped and conveniently located with lots of restaurants and bars around the corner. Some reviews say that the area is dangerous which I totally disagree with - some of the surrounding streets are a but shabby but Málaga is undergoing but we didn't mind. The staff were very friendly and were more than happy to answer our questions.
