  The location of the hotel - I was travelling with a suitcase and the hotel is literally just around the corner from a metro stop. The staff were very helpful - very centrally located for main attractions. - Amazing location, friendly staff who provided any assistance required regarding directions etc. Basic but comfortable room.

  The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had to leave very early in the morning and they booked a taxi for us and made sure it was on time. We greatly appreciated that since we don't speak any Spanish. - the apartment was well equipt

  Location was perfect. 5 minutes walk from the Grand Via Metro. Reception 24hrs. Maria (the host) was very friendly and helpful. I felt like being at home rather then a privat mini hotel (especially after four days). The rooms were cleaned every day which includes fresh towels (to my very own surpise). It is strong and reliable . My room (220) was nice, spacious and quiet. Very clean and lots of fresh white towels. There's a coffee and refreshments machine in the lobby. The area were the hostel is located is terrific. My compliments to the sweet staff.

  Absolutely loved the Casa de Madrid- easily one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. All the staff were exceptionally friendly, nothing was too much trouble, really genuinely lovely people taking great care to make our holiday as good and memorable as it could be. There is a great pride in the owner and the people who work there of the traditional and beautiful bui - It's not a hotel in conventional way. I like the ambience and all the elegant deco with a home style. Quite and lots of privacy in good location like this is really extrodinary. Very friendly staff provided good help on the train schedule and wifi in short/late time. We met the hostress when leaving at the door and she was a nice lady! Unique experience and strongly recommend to those people interested in culture.

  Hostal Veracruz is very nice and has clean rooms with AC and own bathrooms. It is very close to Sol, so really in very center of Madrid and Spain. Everything is in walking distance or else the metro and cercanias are near by (at Sol). You are in the thick of the nightlife of Madrid and of the shopping center. The single room was good and very comfortable. Everything was also very clean and the staff was friendly.   Family managed and run delightful, helpful and friendly place to break one's journey ... As a gay couple with our new born premature babies, we were looked after wonderfully. The shuttle bus turned up as promised and returned us the short journey to Madrid Airport. A small fold away baby bed with lovely bedding was provided immediately. Just a few minutes walk to the town square, where we ate in the evening, made some baby item purchases, on our arrival. - If you are stopping over in Madrid, this is the place to stay. A brilliant place in what is a quaint, quiet little village, but literally 15 minutes to your terminal for flights. You are picked up in a mini bus, and dropped back in time for your flight. Efficient, clean, and well appointed. One of the few places we found that had a fridge. Considering how close you are to the airport it is very quiet. Having double glazing ensures a quiet location.

  The Hotel was just like the reviews we´d read. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and staff friendly and helpful. Being so close to the Metro meant travelling into the center of Madrid was easy.   Kept clean every day. The cleaning lady also does the dishes. Close by a metro station and a supermarket. Free Wifi - good location close to metro station and constant wifi connection. The kitchenette was also handy.

  Jag fick mycket bra service och hjälp av en engelsk talade i pesonalen Möjligtvis hotellägaren. Han hjälpte oss när vi hade bokat husbil och fick firman att hämta oss vid hotellet. - The best value for the money.   location is more than perfect in the middle of the very live street in Madrid. you can just go down and you will see people still going walking everywhere even at 2:00pm. Staff were friendly and you can leave your luggage there after checking out. Internet is very fast and stable. room was really clean but somehow small. - I loved the room decor.... vad folk säger » Decent hot water, comfortable bed, fun overall decor. It felt very 'Spain'. We we given complimentary coffee in the morning even though we didn't have the room and breakfast package.
