  It was a pleasant place for the budget and it is located in place where it is easier to access all forms of public transport. Very impressed with cleaning and making of beds everyday. - Excellent localization and price/quality relationship.

  I am so glad to say that everything about this central accomodation is absolutely perfect! My girlfriend and I arrived on a Thursday evening by Metro, and after some time fumbling around in the Gran Via area we found this gate (number 50) right next to Geox shoe store. Was a very sweet surprise to find 2 towel swans waiting for us, accompanied by a small bottle of c - I liked everything about this hostel. It is on the 5th floor but don't worry because they do have an elevator. The place was recently renovated so everything is new, modern, and beautifully decorated w/TV and nice quiet a/C. Even though it is on a very busy main street, my room #12 was quiet because it faced into a courtyard. Wi-Fi was free and worked great. The location could not be better. I could walk to Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace and gardens, Plaza Espagna, and the Opera house. The

  The boss is very nice. If you can meet him, you can get help, but it's not always there at receiption. The location is very good, but it's not easy to find it. - Excellent location,nearest metro station is just a stone's throw away, full of restaurants in the neighborhood, walking distance to major places of interest.

  We stayed here just one night here after our flight arrived in Madrid and we needed a hostel that was affordable and within walking distance to the train station for our early departure the next morning. It's not a fancy building on an attractive boulevard, but it's within a short walking distance to the train station, which is all - It's an hostal, not an hotel. Said that, everithing was really good: WiFi decent, clean room (they clean it every day) and the staff is very helpful. Position is very good: really close to atocha, to the retiro gardens, the Prado, the modern art museum.. And close to city centre as well. In case in the district there are too different bars/pubs..

  The host and her daughter are really kind people; however, their English skills are limited. I felt like I was staying with family. There is WiFi included so that's a big plus. The hostel overlooks a street with a few clubs/bars so it can get noisy at night. Keep in mind there are three shutters that you can close between your room and the noise o... vad folk säger » utside. This helps minimize the sound. Though I suggest ear plugs for any traveling since you never know how thin the walls might be. The hostel is ar - The host was really nice. Even though he can't speak English, he tried to explain everything and helped us to find some good place near by. The room was also quite large and comfortable for two people to stay. I would love to recommend this place to those who want to stay in Madrid!

  The hostel is located in the city centre, 2 minutes from the metro Opera, the Palacio Real, 5 minutes walk to the Gran via, and 15 to the Prado Museum. Near many cafes and bars where you can eat and drink. We had a room with three beds, air conditioning, safety Deposit box (1 euro), tv, free wi-fi. The room was small but clean. Cleaned the room every day, but towels for three days is not ch - Location was great - in the historic city centre, you can enjoy a walk to many places of interest. Opera metro station is just 1 minute from hostel. 24 hours supermarket is almost next door. My window was on pedestrian street Arenal, where people are walking all night long, but it wasn't noisy, I easily fell asleep (with closed window). Very safe district of Madrid.   It was my first experience to stay in a hostel. And I was not disappointed. The room windows were faced inside that is why it was quietly. The room was small, but it was very clean. The room was cleaned every day. Beds were very wide like double. The mattress and pillow were quite comfortable, linen was clean and of good quality. Holiday inn Express without the frills yet still a personal touch. Right downtown. 1 block or so from Gran Via subway (metro station stop. Safe. 24 hr desk. 3 levels of security; building, hotel, then your room. Maid rearranged room for us after first night to better suit our needs(2 twins beds to a pseudo-double) and tidied our sloppy shoes. Ultra clean. Like spotless. Pressed sheets. I found this property with a price filter but will make a bee line there next time.

  We enjoyed our stay in Madrid! The room was very nice, clean and decorated with a lot of love. It was in the city center and all sights are in walking distance.
