  1. Hotel sent me email before we arrived in several days, and would like to confirm the time of check in. It is good!! 2. They supplier us city maps. 3. We booked the room without kitchen, so we do not found the water boiler. But after house holder know we need it, they gave us one. Tks so much! - I stayed with my brother for 5 nights.   We stayed one night at the Plaza Mayor and wished our stay in Madrid was longer. The hotel is an old traditional building with charming features. Our room was a good size with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable. and everything was spotlessly clean. It was so close to the wonderful Plaza too and near many good restaurants. We took the... vad folk säger » tour buses which were a great way of seeing Madrid in comfort. Oh and the breakfast was superb! Thank you! - The location is perfect (close to main squares and public transportation). Staff is very friendly. Rooms are always clean. Single rooms are very small but if you are looking for just place to sleep, perfect for money vs. quality,service,comfort and location. Easy transportation possibilities from the airport (one bus and 4 metro stops).

  Ett mycket bra och välstädat rum. När personalen (1 pers)var på plats fungerade det mycket bra. Servicen var utmärkt och fick all hjälp som behövdes - The room was very nice and beautiful, nicely decorated, probably recently renovated. Hostal Luz is situated in the center of Madrid, 5 minute walk to the shopping avenue and Plaza Mayor. I think it is best, especially for couples. - Honestly, as far as hostals go, this is the creme de la creme. What afantastic stay. Although we had problems with the wireless internet,the room itself was fantastic. The staff was very considerate andhelpful as well.

  The personal it´s very kind and friendly, and they were always very helpful, specially the owner of the hotel. He always very willing to help and advise me to move more easily around the city. The hotel's location is excellent, just 3 minutes walk from the metro station Sol and just 1 min. Walk from metro Opera. Rooms were small but cosy, and with plenty of space to put your luggage/stuff, big tables (if you want to use your laptop etc), minifridge.   I just stayed for one night. Has a very central location and the room is correct. We stayed in a family room whit four beds and a bathroom. Next time in Madrid, i will come back! - The views are amazing, The location!, Nice water pressure

  The location was excellent and the hostal was really easy to find. We arrived before the check-in time and were given access to our rooms which was great. Our room was clean and we had a view which looked out on to Gran Vie. Staff were friendly and helpful.
