Very nice staff - not everybody speaks perfect English, but with basic Spanish - no problem! With 'Sp-english' - no worries at all ! :) While staying 2 nights I could change the room for better the following night. Internet for free in the room. Next to highway, but you cannot hear much. - Friendly staff, great price

Good location. Friendly owners. Nice design. Big balcony where you can sit with your friends or family members and look at the street throught the big windows. There are some good coffees near the hotel, 100 metres, where you can have a breakfast and dinneer. Nice places. -

1) Wonderful staff - Alex was great but George was amazing - both really helpful and kind. Anything in their porwer will be done for your convenince stay.
2) Hostel description states that there are no hairdriers, but there actually is. Also, if you need George would bring you an iron. - something other places would normally charge for.

A really small business with only about 8 rooms. Really friendly staff, very welcoming and explained everything when we got there. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. The room had double glazed doors so there was hardly any street noise and the building itself is gorgeous! It's walking distance to La Sagrada Familia and just about walking distance to Las Ramblas and then onto the beach. It's also very close to Tetuan metro stop. The bed was of really good quality, and the linen was also. Great to get into a comfy bed after the day in such a a great city. Sowes/toilets always in good condition and enough to share with the few guests staying. Microwav/fridge in hallway leading to a small terrace which is good for chilling out..

This place is amazing. Our room was very clean and functional. It is close to the downtown. Also extremely convenient that La Isla Hostal is a couple of blocks from Estacio Nord (bus station) and Estacio de França (railway station). Friendly and helpful stuff. In my opinion, it is an ideal choice for budget-minded travelers.
