Absolutely loved the Casa de Madrid- easily one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. It's not a hotel in conventional way. I like the ambience and all the elegant deco with a home style. Quite and lots of privacy in good location like this is really extrodinary.
Very friendly staff provided good help on the train schedule and wifi in short/late time.
We met the hostress when leaving at the door and she was a nice lady!
Unique experience and strongly recommend to those people interested in culture.

För den som vill bo centralt i Madrid till en billig penning är Hostal Puerta del Sol ett utmärkt alternativ. Här finns ingen lyx, rent och snyggt. Men framför allt vill jag lyfta fram läget, som ger det promenad avstånd till det mesta av intresse i staden. Furthermore, the breakfast was included and you have free internet access. - Great staff, great location, and the place was eternernally spotless! I stayed in a 4 star hotel the night before and couldn't even get a cup of tea in the room - these guys had breakfast bar open all hours. They deserve to do well.

staff very helpful.
our studio (room 5F) was on the 5th floor at the back of the hotel.
room was ideal plenty of room, bed comfortable, good storage space. kitchen area ideal, bathroom clean and tidy.
i would definitely use the hotel again and would recommend it to friends and family.

It is very clean, comfortable, and staffs are friendly too. The location is in the city centre, and just 3 mins to metro station. It is an amazing hotel that we would love to visit again if we are going to Madrid again. -

The location was right down in the city and close to many sights. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the building was of the old architecture, which was charming. The rooms had a television, phone and plenty of bath linens. Jimmy and his staff were always very helpful. We spent 5 nights in Madrid and were very pleased with our accommoda

Superb location in beautiful side-street within easy walking distance of all the major sights. It was lovely to feel that we were in the heart of Madrid. The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us a warm welcome even though we arrived very late after a delayed flight. Room very comfortable. There was some noise on Friday and Saturday nights from people in the street but no traffic noise.
