Perfect location for us, apartment very smart with a lovely feeling to it, very easy to stroll back to for a "siesta" before embarking out again to soak up more of Madrid and eating more of the amazing food. Brilliant coffee/cake shop 2 min from the door by the way! We had a late flight home and staff let us leave bags in a secure room in their offices 10 min stroll from apartment to pick up after taking in more of the city which was great. You can't beat the location. And while no hotel costing less than a
fortune is totally quiet, I was pleasantly surprised at how relatively
peaceful Madrid City Rooms was. The double windows did not block out all
of the cacaphony outside, but they did a much better job dampening it
than I expected. The man at reception was very friendly, and anyone with
even a little Spanish language ability will appreciate his warm

I really loved the location of the hostel! It's super central, easy to walk to anywhere in the city, and there are always people out and about, so it feels quite safe.
The staff was really helpful, including carrying my heavy bags up and down the stairs and helping me to arrange for a taxi to the airport at the end of my stay.

Lovely room with gorgeous little terrace, perfect for enjoying an afternoon glass of rosado! Close to metro station, but you don't necessarily need to use it as everything in the Madrid centre is within a 20min walk. Super friendly staff. Little taverna a few doors down serving excellent tapas, great beers and wine. Lidl supermarket a 2min walk away.
