  hotel 44 was an excellent place to stay for our 5 day break. It was convenient to the beaches and town. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall we considered it to be good value and would be happy to recommend it. - Loved the fact that the staff ungraded us to a better quality room with hot tub, just ... vad folk säger » because... they had room and we had requested the best possible room for the price.   Third time I have stayed at this excellent hotel,lots of help from Maria on front desk with some printing.Nothing really too much trouble.Top quality hotel - It was quiet, good light, lovely balcony and cafeteria. Excelent food and coffee. Very helpful and friendly staff. I hope to stay there again.

  The hotel is close to a railway station so that one can easy reach the industries, it is near ALSA bus station and also a lot of interesting touristic places.   The hotel was located very close to the center, walking everywhere was easy. The staff was excellent, very helpful, gave great restaurant recommendations. I think overall it's recommendable if you want the basics. - excellent, close to the beach and the autobus station. also close to the city center and old town, because Gijon is not so big city.
