  Overall, we had a great vacation and we enjoyed our stay at Castro . the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to offer help and answer our questions, perfect place for families, the location is perfect near two metro stations, we loved it and I recommend this for families. - Great place!   The rooms were clean and modern. Looked fresh out of an Ikea catalog. Beautiful view of the city on the rooftop at the pools. Great location near Metro stops. Not a far walk to shopping/food/beach/sites. Loved the cafe on site. Lots of friendly travelers staying here. Met people from all over the world. Really enjoyed our stay here.   I can strongly recommend this place to people who look for something cozy, stylish, not typical. You feel more like at home, not like in a hotel. There is a common space for the guests where you can sit around big table, drink high quality coffee (free of charge) and relax.   Susan is possibly the nicest woman in Barcelona. She was very kind and made sure our stay was perfect. When I informed her that my shorts that had the extra set of keys was stolen at the beach, she was very understanding and told me that there would be no extra charge. The breakfast was great and didn't end super early like many of the other hostels I've been to.
