  Helena, receptionist, always cheerful, professional and helpful. Stayed on well after her leaving time to settle us in after our late arrival due to problems with our pre-booked airport pickup. This was nothing to do with the hotel but Helena was proactive in ensuring that it was all sorted out and our departure pickup was ontime.   The hotel was very comtempary! Loved it! Location was a little far away from anywhere but excellent metro service. Staff were brilliant with us, when we arrived there was a problem with one of the floors "technical problems" but they sent us to the Hilton Hotel instead - no extra cost! Can't fault them! - Location to the Metro was nice and easy to find with a landmark (egg building) right next it. Room was very spacious, room for luggage too! The front desk folks were extremely nice and spoke many languages. All in all, we would definitely stay there again.

  The location was good, in the Eixample district - 10 mins walk from Passieg de Gracia Railway Station, so we took train from airport T.2 - only took 25 mins and costs 3.5 euros each. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble. A very good buffet breakfast was included in price. We upgraded to comfort room which was much better - I can highly recommend this trendy hotel.The staff are friendly and knowledgable, rooms are clean and comfortable and we had a beautiful view over the city, from our balcony, plus a nespresso machine. Breakfast was excellent and this was leisure combined with business. We stayed in this 4 star hotel for leisure and thereafter went to a 5 star hotel where our conference were, but this 4 star hotel was much better than the 5star. Thus don't let the stars confuse you!
