  The room was minimalistic (in the design sense) and very nice. It also was very clean. The location of the hotel was awesome: right next to the Arc of Triumph (of Barcelona) and a subway station, and a few blocks away of the most interesting places for shopping, going out at night and sightseeing (except for the Gaudí buildings: La Pedrera, La Sag... vad folk säger » rada Familia, etc., which aren't that near (not too far either)). - great location, very friendly staff, wonderful rooms well equipped... Best place to stay where in the front you have bus stop, metro station, a nice park to relax, restaurants... Simply great!

  The location was absolutely perfect for accessing the sites in the old town. Very easy to get to and from the airport via the aerobus as the apt is only 2 minutes walk away from Placa Catalunya. Apartrment was clean and the agent met us at exactly the time specified. Maid came every day and cleaned and left clean towels. Excellent value. The bed was comfortable. The lighting was particularly good too. It is a 5 minutes walk from the airport bus stop at Plaza Catalunya.

  The bed was of really good quality, and the linen was also. Great to get into a comfy bed after the day in such a a great city. Sowes/toilets always in good condition and enough to share with the few guests staying. Microwav/fridge in hallway leading to a small terrace which is good for chilling out.. Our room was very clean and functional. It is close to the downtown. Also extremely convenient that La Isla Hostal is a couple of blocks from Estacio Nord (bus station) and Estacio de França (railway station). Friendly and helpful stuff. In my opinion, it is an ideal choice for budget-minded travelers.

  We stayed in the huge attic apartment on the 7th floor of a fantastic old building. The location is central for sightseeing, shopping and eating. There is a terrace with table and chairs overlooking other rooftops, ideal in morning and evening. We arranged to meet a member of staff at an agreed time as there is no reception. Metro stop is right below and you'll are next to very nice El Born and Barrio Gotico areas. Las Ramblas street is not far too. Our apartment and bathroom were nice and clean and the kitchen was good too. We were welcomed by Virginia and all here advices for our 3-day visit were great.

  Central location is perfect for walking all over town. It is right by Placa Catalyna where the buses from the airport arrive and metro station as well as trains out of Barca. Our second stay we were given room 202 which is a double with on-suite bath and a balcony onto main street. People watching was great fun. If you want uber posh it's not for you. - The staff was generally friendly/helpful. The Day staff are more english helpful/friendly, the night staff generally doesn't know anything other than Spanish & a lot stricter, but was the same at all my friends hostels anyways. Good price & great location. Was very quiet as needed too.

  My wife and I stayed in this new small Hotel (six rooms) last week and loved it. Staff was so kind, friendly and helpful. We really felt better then home, the place has got a fantastic decor (just renovsted) and they had lot of attention to every detail and to our needs.
