  Location is absolutely perfect! 30m from the top of La Rambla and 2 minutes walk from Place de la Catalunya, directed airport buses stop & subway station. - Great location. Staff kind and helpful, but doesn't speak english. Clean, didn't see any bug in our room and bathroom during 3 nights.

  The Hostal Gat Raval was a fantastic place from which to explore Barcelona. The location and indeed the street Joaqim Costa are excellent. On leaving the Hostal there is a buzz about, cafes, bars and restaurants are easy to find and have an air of cool without being pretentious. The hostal is very clean and welcoming.   The hostal Radio is cheap, simple and is situated in a great locacion, 15 minutes walk from Plaza Espana and 10 minutes walk from Plaza Catalunya, La Rambla. There is a bus stop very close and the metro Universitat and metro Sant Antoni very close too. Staff very helpfull and kind.They helped us a lot with everything that we asked. The neighborhood ,although it may seems a bit unsafe ,actually is very lively , a blend of different peoples ,different bars and shops and if you have time to explore it you may find it interesting.If you are looking for a very basic place, this hostel is a good value for money.

  Very cozy mini-hostel. We stayed in May in a double room number 106. a cozy room with wash basin, wardrobe and tv. The room has a balcony with chairs and a table. Absolute cleanliness everywhere. Responsive host Senor Pedro, answer all your questions and help you! He speaks English and Spanish. There are Russian-speaking staff. You have the keys to the entrance an - Mr Peter, who welcomed us, was very polite and friendly. He answered all our questions very patiently and arranged a very good taxi for our trip to the station on our day of departure. Our room and toilet was cleaned and beds made nicely everyday. The location of the property is marvelous and walking to La Rambla would take us not more that ten mins. I would definitely recommend this to all who want value for money along with an excellent location.

  The hotel is well located at the top of La Rambles. The room was small but adequate. It had the normal bathroom amenitities including a hairdryer. It was cleaned regularly. We had a great city street view. I had read about it been noisy but didnt find it that noisy. Just closed the terrace door and turn the air conditioning on and it was fine. We ... vad folk säger » stayed there Sunday to Wednesday. Everything was close by including shopping, bank, restaurants and bars. We ventured on the side streets and found gr - The hotel was the perfect location. Only 2 miles away from the cruise terminal, one street away from the Airport Shuttle pick up and drop off location, and between two metro stops. Located on Las Ramblas, I was expecting the hotel to be of low quality because of the price, but I was amazed at how gorgeous the rooms were- and how spacious! Front desk staff is very helpful. I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. Free wifi, breakfast for a couple euros, and beautiful rooms.

  The staff was really nice, they all speak English, it's valueable as not many people in Spain can. The hostel manager Marc was polite and he even agreed to wait until our arrival (at 0:30 a.m.). The rooms vere poorly designed, but they were authentic, as the hostel is located in a rather old building (I think).
