We absolutely loved everything about Circa 1905 - the magnificent building with its entry doors, marble staircase, old fashioned lift and a superb interior that had a rich, old world ambience yet still,offered all the modern conveniences that give a place that "luxury feel". This hostal is a converted apartment covering the first floor of the building.It has managed to retain many of the original features and character. I have back and neck problems so a good quality mattress and pillow is always a problem when I travel... But not at this hotel! Those were Perfect! No backpain, no headache! Welcome and facilities were great.We were able to park the car, for a fee, in the underground car park. Free wi fi was great for the children and we were able to book tickets in advance for trips. The flat was beautifully decorated , well equipped , quiet , clean and perfect for a family . The location of Hostal Boutique Khronos was excellent, 10 mins walk from the main square where buses to and from airport were situated. Bus Turistic city tour buses also leave from here. We were also only 15 mins walk from The Ramblas, the main tourist shopping street. Khronos was basic but very clean & the staff were very friendly & helpful. The bed was quite hard, but this seems to be the case in many Spanish hotels. there was also a great terrace where free tea was served. Right next

I liked the fact that for a such a noisy place i was able to sleep an wasn't sleep deprived,i had a concern about them not having a safety deposit box in the room with the reputation BCN has for pickpockets, scammers etc but it turned out ok nothing happened. -

The apartment was modern, spacious and clean. It was very well equipped with all kitchen electronics and dishes we needed. The washing machine-dryer was very useful. The apartment location was excellent. We walked to most places, but it is also easy to get taxis and metro station is very close. There are a lot of small shops around for groceries -

I liked the fact that Angla almost operates on anti-hype. Everything
about the apartment was better than the very correct, agreeably modest
descriptions on the net. Whoever designed the flat we stayed in had
terrific taste and picked the very best of everything, from the towels
to the porcelain china plates. The interior was sober, modern and
elegant. And we liked the staff tremendously. Nicholas, on reception,
was helpful and humorous and helped make our stay so great. The
