  Easy to find the hotel because it is just in front of the Catedral. A few minutes walk to the historical town centre and Renfe station. Staff is also very friendly. I did not know the reception is not open at seven o'clock in the morning. Unfortunately I did not have a mobile available in Europe, so I tried to make a call from the reception desk b... vad folk säger » ut the pay phone is out of order. I have left a memo for room charge and when I arrived at Barcelona early afternoon I phoned to the manager for expl - Staff were very friendly and readily accommodated our request to change rooms so that we were away from a busy road. The room and bathroom were scrupulously clean. Centrally located, within walking distance to everything including the railway station, just a 10 minute walk away, with luggage.

  Loved this pension! They upgraded us to a massive corner room which had a separate lounge area with tv and numerous little balconies. This pension is very clean and has great staff that are very very helpful and will even draw on a map all the tapas bars they regularly go to. So ask a few of the staff so you get a good mix of Bars to hang out at. ... vad folk säger » We highly recommend this place for a stay in San Sebastián. It's close to the old town and 5 mins walk to the beach. Best value for money I have ever - It' s komfortable, small and lovely. Quite clean and very good equiped, stylish interior, qualty material. Parkinghouse is near, five minutes to walk. Special discounted voucher has been provided by the hotel. In next corner great bakeri and this block has bustling nightlife because of cafes and hambar. Staff is friendly!:)

  Javier who was the point of contact and person in charge at Pension was one of the highlights of the entire trip to San Sebastian. He was very helpful telling us exactly where to go to get a round and had a great sense of humor. We had a great stay at Pension and have already recommended a number of friends to stay there! Thanks Javier and Pension... vad folk säger » ! Also we survived the bulls! =) - EVERYTHING!!!!! The location was perfect. We had the most beautiful walk across the bridge into old town everyday. The staff did EVERYTHING possible to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The rooms were nice and big and cozy. Coffee from the machine in the lounge was great and convenient. The value was outstanding. We will stay here when in San Sebastian:)))))

  Located just across the road from La Zurriola beach (the surfing beach) and the Kursaal Congress Centre and Auditorium. It's an easy 5 mins minutes walk across the bridge to the main city centre, making it very convenient and yet safe & not noisy. It is a small place overall but the room was spacious, has a small balcony overlooking the street... vad folk säger » and the Auditorium, very comfortable, clean & cozy, real comfy bed & pillows too. There is constantly someone at the reception to assist you, - Pension Kursaal feels like a very good 3-star hotel to me. The room and bathroom are spacious, with a little balcony overlooking the Kursaal convention centre (room 14). It is well equipped with strong shower and hair dryer. The pillow is really comfortable! Wifi is fast. Just around 10 mins walk to the old part. A really good hotel overall!

  Modern room. Not located in the Old City, but it is only a short walk away. No adjoining parking, but the hotel gives a discount for a large public lot that is close by. I enjoyed the stay and would go back. Note that this is a small pension with only 5 rooms. - The rooms were extremely clean with private large bathroom.   Pensión Iturriza is an absolute little gem. For me this was a last minute booking, I had intended on staying at another place where my friends were staying, but that didn't work out so booked into PI instead - and I'm so glad I did! The rooms are just lovely. They are superbly clean, comfortable and are - We liked almost everything about our stay. Ibon, the owner, was extremely helpful - giving us information about restaurants, tourist sites, etc. We stayed in two rooms - a double on the second floor (the grandparents) and the apartment on the sixth floor (family with 2 small children). Ibon is renovating the building so there was no elevator but this will be finished in a few weeks. And, as active people, this did not bother us at all. The rooms were clean and large, the view from the apartment

  Pension is really great. It is constructed inside the building that is surrounded by factories, but inside it's looking amazing. The owner is great person. He was building pension for five years by himself and he did a great job! He waited for us until 3 a.m. in the morning and allowed us to check out at 3 p.m. because of it. He also gave us gifts... vad folk säger » :) It's 4-5 km from San Sebastian center, but if you have a car, it's really no problem... I will come back here next time! - Never judge a book by it's cover! This hotel is built within an old factory so the outside looks horrible but after taking the industrial lift upstairs you enter into another world. Clean, stylish, contemporary design with all the facilities. We used it as a stop over but you could use it as a base to explore the nearby mountains and coast of San Sabastian. The owner is really helpful and friendly and gave us maps and advice.
