  I am really grateful to Esther, the staff member. We had some complications with coming before 10 pm but there was no problem with the check-in a bit later. Unfortunately we also had some stomach illness and some of us could stay a few hours longer after the check-out time. The staff was helpful. No words, Cordoba is worthy of visit. It looks nice and offers a good quality of stay. - We were given very good information about Cordoba on our arrival which is more than I would expect from a hotel. The hotel is charming and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was available for 3 euros but we had an early appointment so were unable to try it. The location is excellent. We hope to visit Cordoba again and would definitely stay in this hotel.

  The pensione is central, quiet, clean and comfortable. The air con was a pleasant respite from 39 degree temp outside for a mid afternoon siesta. The hosts were friendly and pleasant although we were new to Spain and they had little English we didn't converse much. Entry was by ringing the doorbell which was good for security but made us feel awkw... vad folk säger » ard when we thought they might be resting. - We stayed 1 night in Pension el Portillo and the room was perfect for that time. It is a rather small family-run business in a very good location (around 5 mins walk from La Mosquita and Alcazar), clean and comfortable, with a lovely owner. I would not choose it for longer stay (3-4 days) but it was perfect for 1 night.

  Excellent location near to the city centre (old town) and to the sightseeings. The room was simply but comfortable, with good bathroom. City Cordoba is an outstanding place - warmly recommended to everyone interested in the history. Grand place, nice people. - The young man at reception during the daytime was particularly helpful

  Amazing location in the heart of the city, in only 5 minutes you can reach the Mezquita of Cordoba. Even if the street is narrow the Hostal has a basement parking which costs 10 euros/day, so you can forget about the problem "where do I park?". There is a dfference between the "Hotel" and "Hostal" Maestre, there are both on the same street, they b... vad folk säger » elong to the same owner but only the Hotel has a 24 hour opened reception. So, if you come late at night and you're staying at the Hostal you have to - Fantastic! Two four-persons appartment (while we had booked rooms) made our stay in Cordoba unforgettable. A definite recommendation. Clean, comfortable, great staff, parking, centrally located, great value, all facilities, Wifi works well, allowed us to leave luggage after check-out and explained the entire old city. The apartments were spacious and airco worked well. The lady at check-in desk (she is Colombian) was friendly and efficient - a true asset for the hotel. We plan to be back!
