The room was quiet (away from the street), and the area was quiet at night. Many options for eating nearby or a quick (1 euro) metro ride away. The metro stop was less than two minutes away and facilitated travel throughout the city. The room was clean and maintained throughout my stay. While the hotel offered breakfast, there were also multiple restaurants close by to choose from.

This is a centrally situated hostal, within easy reach of many attractive parts of Madrid. It is very clean and comfortable, with a particularly good bathroom. Breakfast (continental) is also very good. The staff are courteous and friendly, and very helpful. Altogether an excellent budget hostal - thoroughly recommendable. -

Brilliant location - right in front of the train station, direct to Barajas, at the same time close to all sightseeing, easy walkable distance and away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist places. I loved the location -the Metro was 2 min. From the hotel. You can walk
to Royal Palace. If you like flamenco, Corral de la Moreria is a 15 min
walk. Mariano was very helpful and funny guy. The view from room 801
overlooking the park was beautiful. I liked the room a lot. It was very
big with a sitting area and a small kitchen. It was also very clean. The
picture of the room on the web site did not do it any justice because I
