  First of all, the location of the hostel is great, being located in the heart of Madrid, a few minutes away from Gran Via and all the cultural places. Also it is really easy to arrive from the airport. Second of all, the ratio quality-price was great taking into the consideration that my room was quite modern and I enjoyed the shower with hidromas... vad folk säger » sage. The room was very clean and quiet. Next, the staff was young, professional, very friendly and with good communication skills (they spoke English - The location of Hostal Gala is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Gran Via and Puerto Del Sol. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and advise on where to go and what to do. The hostal is also kept very clean and the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Although the rooms do not have safe deposit boxes, security and leaving passports/money behind was never a cause for concern. This is a place I would recommend and stay at again!

  Location was excellent, a very very short walk from the Puerta del Sol. Very very very good value for the price. Place was clean, and everything worked fine. Staff was very hospitable. Honestly I've stayed at better places, but I certainly enjoyed my stay, and have no real complaints. Would certainly stay here again. - We LOVED it here!   The personnel was very friendly, I was very sick during my stay and they took care of me, were speaking english and french very well. I will go back there with no doubt! The location is great, so close to metro and to la latina, plaza del sol, small fresh market...   Walking distance to Puerta del Sol and metro. There's restaurant and a convenient store just downstairs. The room was air-conditioned, which is a nice escape from Madrid's hot summer. - Great location, value for money, the staff is stay at the hotel 24 hours.

  The person over there is super nice, it is comfortable and very close to metro I will recommend this hostel for the young who travel here.... Small budget and it worth it!

  1. LOCATION is excellent, very close to Metro station (Gran Via) & many city landmarks (Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, can be reached by walk). Hotel surrounding by many shops, big stores and restaurants (Jamon 55, Cafe & Te, Rong Hua chinese restaurant is just few choices). 2. Room is completed with good wifi con - Great location near Gran Via metro station on the nice shopping street. Elevator to 4th floor. Rooms have windows for inner court, so it's quiet to sleep. You will have own keys for the building and for your room, so it's safe. The single room with shower is really nice and cosy, with air condition, sink, good mirrow, a kettle to boil water for tea etc. Also the bed was comfortable. It was my second time I stayed here and I was perfectly happy with everything.

  Location superb - pedestrianised shopping strip right outside your door. Very safe area. Extremely helpful staff-thanks Mary and George for a great and comfortable stay. Rooms are bright, decently sized and everything works unlike some 4 star hotels I've stayed at. Fast Wi fi connection.   Very good information about the apartement and good service of the staff. Staff on site does not speak english but reception that was called on the phone does speak english. Very quiet studio in the back courtyard. Shopping groveries, banking etc. directly in front the studio. Free service to leave baggage with reception at Plaza Mayor was offered... vad folk säger » , however we did not use it because at Atocha train station you can leave luggage for a small charge, it is more close. - Good location, 2 main to metro, 5 main to Atocha and 15 main to Prado. Clean simple room with air condition and tv.
