  The hotel was excellent, clean and a very good price. Staff was very friendly and spoke good English. Hotel is in the centre of Madrid so when you go behind the corner, you are immediately in the shopping streets. We highly recommend this hotel and will visit again when we'd go back to Madrid!   Great location, a picturesque view from a large window. Modern facilities, including a good kitchen. A lot of light in the spacious room. Very cosy, clean and comfortable. Good design, friendliness, lightness and comfort create the right atmosphere you need for a pleasant vacation. If you like flamenco, Corral de la Moreria is a 15 min walk. Mariano was very helpful and funny guy. The view from room 801 overlooking the park was beautiful. I liked the room a lot. It was very big with a sitting area and a small kitchen. It was also very clean. The picture of the room on the web site did not do it any justice because I think that it is much nicer.   Very good located. Near of public transportation (Callao metro station). Near to the moust important sightseeings. On the oposit side is a supermarket on the underground level from a shopping mall (you can find here glutenfree products too) and nearby a lot of little restaurants.   It was an excellent location, near the metro and Plaza Mayor. The staff were all very helpful and parking was facilissimo. They were extremely accommodating, providing driving directions in Madrid and other advice. - The breakfast (which was not included) was delicious and plentiful.

It was called Puerto del Alcala was newly refurbish and very clean.   This is the second time I stayed at the Hotel Sterling and it was fantastic, I was given the chance to see the Room first as I had asked for a quiet room, and knowing Madrid the Spanish like to party out in the streets till all hours of the night! - I was given a very large room at the back of the Hotel which I asked for away from the lifts. So for you who like to shop this is the perfect hotel. Another plus of the hotel is the location very near metro station (forgot the name of the station) just 2 minutes walk. So you can go everywhere easily.
