We recently stayed here for a last minute night in Barcelona due to French airstrikes sending us via spain. Clearly we wanted something central close to some nightlife and most of all cheap! Lovely architecture, marble winding staircase and old wooden doors, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. TV on the wall. Lots of information available about Barcelona. Shared bathroom wasn't such an issue for a short stay (1 night).

We LOVED Cien! The room was very cozy and chic. The shower was huge. The terrace was great. The AC worked wonderfully. The wi-fi signal was super strong. The TV in the room had some english channels, and there were more on later at night. The breakfast was great, and the breakfast area and private terrace was also very nice. It doesn't look like much at first, but the venue has actually been a pleasant surprise. Staff seemed a little uncertain, but the room exceeded expectations. Location of the hotel was perfect, I was able to get to every place I wanted to see by foot (La Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell, Plaza de Toros, Cathedral, beach, ...). Hotel room was very nice equiped and clean. Stuff speaks very well english and is prepared do give you advice anytime.

We are a young couple with 2 month old baby stayed there for 4 days. The
first room that we got was small but hed an inside balcony, we needed a
bigger room so at the next morning we got transfer to a bigger room. The

The stuff was very kind, the room was very clean, the stuff changed towels and cleaned it every day, the room was in a very short distance to metro stations and in a very central location (we could go by foot to placa catalunia).Wi-fi was very good.
