  The hostel was clean and well kept. It was quiet and well located. The staff were really helpful and answered all my questions. I am also grateful that they took the time to save me the bottom bunk bed.   Staffs were really kind and nice, and bed, kitchen, bathroom...everything was so clean and comfy. Just little little far from main street but still walking distance.   Absolut friendly and helpfull staff, quiet at night (considering the most important road far below - and as it is considerably small, well controlled), perfectly situated in the real heart of the City - E.G. 2 steps from Lion King. Well kept - and with a hard to beat cost/performance level. Don't expect high luxury - but get a cosy place that has ... vad folk säger » all it needs. - This is a small hostel high up in an old building. It's in a great location and is perfect for friends or a couple to use as a base for seeing Madrid. The staff was awesome. Totally awesome. The hostel is a bit run down and in need of a bit of work. Hopefully the owners take care of that soon. Smaller than what the website implies.

  For what we paid we were expecting so much less. Great place, surely going back if passing by the city. Only problem, no hair dryer. I didn't ask at the reception desk cause i was already under the shower when i noticed, they might offer some though, upon request, I don't know. Again though, everything perfect and SO valuable for the price.... whi... vad folk säger » ch is why i won't fill in the didn't like box ;p A/C, nice TV, nice people :) A bit difficult to find the entrance to the building, but we survived ;) - Excellent location in the city center in safe and relatively quiet street, very close to metro station. Rooms are spacious, well furnished, very clean, have all necessary facilities such as lockers, table, chairs, pegs. Staff is really helpful: they can advise you good and cheap restaurants nearby and make a reservation for you. Continental breakfast for guests is served each morning.

  It's a perfect place to stay in Madrid. it was the best hostel i've ever stayed. Why? 1. Clean and beautiful. For me its the most important criteria - to have a clean bath and bed. Here everything looked new and smart. Cool design in corridors and inside the rooms. 2. Friendly and very helpful stuff. They will help you to organize the stay better... vad folk säger » than in tourist office. 3. Location. Close to everything most important. I never took a metro. From r/w st. Attocha - on foot, to bus station to air - Hostel is at a perfect location, close to Plaza del Sol, tons of bars and clubs and Prado museum. Athough it is in a loud area, the hostel itself is pretty peaceful and sleeping problems caused by outside noise are non-existent. Hostel staff is probably the friendliest and more helpful than I've ever seen. They are always ready to answer any questions and request within their power. The design is simply wonderful and refreshing. The rooms are so clean that you could probably eat off the floor
