  I have stayed at thisw hotel numerous times over the past 15 years. I like the fact it is an apartment with a small kitchen, a spacious living room, adequate bedroom and a bath. While it is simple and some may say sparse in decor, it is fairly priced, the staff is great, the location is convenient and away from the noisy and overly crowded downt... vad folk säger » own center. - We liked the fact that we felt independent - that we could do our own thing and not be restricted by meal times etc. The Plaza Basilica was booked to allow us to get to the Bernabeu and in to the city centre and in this respect it proved an admirable choice. We would undoubtedly choose it again for a similsr trip.

  The Hotel was just like the reviews we´d read. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and staff friendly and helpful. Being so close to the Metro meant travelling into the center of Madrid was easy.   Location was convenient for our purposes. Parking in the underground area turned out actually to be convenient for car access since it was a simple elevator ride from our floor to the car. The reception staff were friendly and knew enough English to help us. Comfortable.   Excellent excellent value! The Cuban man running the place is very friendly and helpful, interesting to talk to in general if you can speak some Spanish. In a great location with lots of bars, tapas shops, short walk to all the major attractions. Simple, but very very clean and neat.
