  As usual, the staff of small hotels make or break the experience. In the case the staff at Los Faroles were exemplary. The addition of a quiet thoroughfare, double glazed windows, reasonably sized room and bathroom, simple but functional entrance with an open air / covered Andalusian patio for breakfast and / or drinks, only added to a very enjoya... vad folk säger » ble experience. Would not hesitate to visit again. - The cleanliness, the friendly staff who suggested lots of sights we should see in our short visit to Cordoba, the location was very suitable as it was within walking distance of the Great Mosque and roman bridge. My husband speaks Spanish but I think I might have found it difficult on my own as I only speak English.

  This hotel is tucked away in a quiet courtyard in the old town. Rooms are not big but well done and the shower is excellent. The location is excellent as its v close to the mesquita as well as lots of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was fine and adequate.   Wow!!! What a find...our room faced onto the Mezquita (as in, it was just there across the lane) - a surreal and wonderful neighbour. The furnishings and building are stunning - loved the patio too. Great breakfast and lovely owners who did everything they could. One of our favourite finds in Spain. - I enjoyed my stay very much. The location is wonderful just next to the La Mezquita and I was lucky to have a room vith a view of La Mezquita. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean a bit small but you are in Cordoba !!!! So much to do ! So really it did not bother me. I highly recommend. Very good value forthe price!   Everything...comfort...cleanliness....friendly...helpful. - it was lovely with the most friendly staff and in a lovely location, but i am on a crutch so its a bit of a walk up a hill to the main square, that should be taken into consideration if booking.

  Wonderfull cool patio where we had our own breakfast and dinner. Well furnished kitchen with washing-machine, and a washing line on the roof. A lady staff member had a very good command of English. The studio had its own air-conditioner which helped as the day temperature was 37 degrees Celsius.   The staff were very friendly and helpful and provided recommendations of where to eat at a reasonable price and places to visit and kindly marked these for us on a map. The rooms were nice and airy and very clean. They also served free tea and coffee between 4pm and 9pm which I thought was a nice touch. The hostal was great value for money - Lovely little courtyard oasis in the centre of the Hostal, small room but well laid out, and a fresh clean decor and comfortable bed. I was in one of the 4 rooms which face each other above the courtyard which meant the noise and privacy aspects concerned me on arrival but it turned it to be very quiet in the evening, nearly all the guests seemed to be in bed at 11pm.
