  Very friendly staff, I travel with two dogs - one small and one medium sized, it was not a problem at all. The hotel is situated in a pedestrian area with lots of restaurants and shops +++ - only a few minutes walk to the beach and seaside. - Friendly staff, great location all the restaurants and beach close by. Although we paid for car parking ... vad folk säger » it was easy and took the worry of parking fines. Great for the odd night.

  We thought we had booked another hotel marinada which happened to be in Salou (completely our fault for not reading throughly when booking) but the staff are excellent so helpful and kind. No lift for suitcases or pram but again staff helped out. No pool but 15 min walk 2 beach. Very Spanish spoken town a lot of seafood served in the town. Marinada is the best quality/price hotel I have ever stayed in! The staff is really friendly and competent. Breakfast is complimentary and good: Expresso coffee, orange juice, ham, cheese, jam, butter and bread. VERY GOOD VALUED HOTEL!

  The Manager was extremely friendly and accommodating. We asked to be moved to a bigger room as the first room we were given was very claustaphobic and we were give a much superior room at no extra charge. The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day .   Just back from a 5 day stay in Hostal Platja. Arrived at 9 pm and rang the bell. A very friendly gentleman checked us in. We were give a choice of 2 rooms. Rooms were probably a little small. Had A/C which worked well but a little noise if you are a light sleeper. Also a mini fridge with two bottles of water, which is a very nice touch. Bed made - Very budget friendly at a superb location in this friendly town that has lots of good restaurants and boutique shops.

  VERY Conveniently placed by A7 Motorway for overnight stop. Had rooms for 3 people for our trio - unusual in Spain - so much cheaper than getting 2 rooms. The 'Menu-of-the-Day' is Excellent value and restaurant seems to be always open.
