  The staff is very nice &helpful and gives lots of tips what to do in the region. The rooms and the common areas are nicely decorated and have a lot of charm. The breakfast is very generous.   Cortijo El Guarda är en av de absolut bästa och finaste platser som vi varit på. Gården är fantastiskt smakfullt renoverad, rummen är vackra och autentiska, omgivningen får en att tappa hakan (en promenad bland olivodlingarna rekommenderas starkt) och värdparet Miranda och Hans är enormt gästvänliga, trevliga och kunniga. Cortijo El Guarda är en p... vad folk säger » ärla av sällan skådat slag! - The warm welcome by Hans and Miranda and their dog Sam was the start of an unforgettable weeks stay in Cortijo el Guarda. The accommodation is beautifully restored and elegantly decorated and still has modern amenities (good wifi, hot showers, etc). We had a very comfortable and spacious room with a worldclass bed and there was more than enough room for the crib. Even though the weather was a bit cold and wet for March, we had a wonderful time because of the warm and cosy municipal rooms, long - Wow - what a wonderful place to rest, relax and explore the “Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos”. The interior decoration of the Cortijo El Guarda is just fantastic, every detail is perfect. Miranda and Hans are wonderful hosts. You really feel like you are staying in their home, not just their hotel. We would not hesitate to recommend this casa rural to anyone searching for a special place to stay.
