The location was great, close enough to all the activity but not so
close that you are woken up or disturbed. The room was clean and the
majority of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Clean, comfortable, well kitted out rooms in a great area of Cape Town. Easy walk to the waterfront. Very accommodating given I was unwell during my stay. Free parking right outside. Excellent value for money.

It was very clean and the location was safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. More luxury than you might expect from a bed & breakfast (guest house). Really charming. We slept very good. (I would ask for a room which is not next to the breakfast area.) Overall we would come back!

We stayed three nights at B.I.G. in one of the worst downpours, with
hail, seen by Cape Town in years. This managed to mess up our plans....
But due to Amilion, Linda, Tulua, and Amy, we were able to have a
wonderful time anyway. When we first arrived, Amilion (spelling?)
suggested we go immediately to see Kirstenbosh due to the pending bad
weathe

We were welcomed with a traditional South African braii - barbecue! How much better can you get to meet everyone and get comfortable with the Cape Town groove?! We loved the staff - from the owner to the housekeepers - they really took good care of us while allowing us to still enjoy the "backpacker-style" of lodging. They helped us plan our days to use our time and $$ so we could get to do all the things we hoped to enjoy in our 5 nights stay. The Dave Matthews Band concert brought us 8,000

The manager who went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable by providing an extra room. The hotel is full of character and beautiful - rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need including bottled water. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious. And of course the lovely friendly dogs. -

There are also a number of restaurants/bars closer to the guest house if you didn't want to go further afield every night. I would happily visit again.

Friendly owners, are very helpful. Easy to reach the owners by phone or mail. Dishwasher and washing machine available, nice balcony. Just a place to stay to feel at home during a vaction or citytrip. Secure car parking for free. Safe place to stay. Near Waterfront Harbour & Mall. I liked the way staff go out of their way to help with relevant information. That made our stay a very comfortable one.
Next time I visit Cape Town I will we consider staying with the Sweet Lemon B&B. One thing though you should provide lemons for tea. -
