It is two steps from Nevsky on a pedestrian street across from the Kazan Cathedral, yet because it's on a pedestrian street, it's reasonably quiet.   Nice freshly refirbrished rooms. Clean bathroom, washing machine. Not far away from the subway (beware that the subway station is closed for the reconstruction till october 2013) If you are looking for a cheap place to stay for several nights this will be a very good option. - 1) good location 2) good lobby design
